Amid reports of Neymar’s future being uncertain at Paris Saint-Germain, their president Nasser al-Khelaïfi spoke to France Football earlier this month and place more doubt on the situation.

On June 19th, Mundo Deportivo reported the 27-year-old has already sent a direct message to Al-Khelaifi, expressing his desire to leave Parc des Princes.

Sport reported on Tuesday the Brazilian has verbally agreed a five-year deal with the La Liga winners.

The front page of today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo states the former Santos star could start rebelling, in order to force a move away from the Ligue 1 winners for Barcelona.

After spending two years in the French league, the player is keen on a return to Catalonia.

Thomas Tuchel’s men return to preseason training on July 8th and Neymar is hopeful something can be sorted out before then.

Even though the player has informed his club chief, and with reports suggesting he has already agreed personal terms with Barca, Mundo explain PSG very much hold all the cards… and the player.

In addition to this, from the Camp Nou, their stance has been clear. They will not do anything until they receive a clear signal from the Paris club that they are open to negotiating the sale at a reasonable price.

Ernesto Valverde’s side are especially willing to include player as a part of the operation.

Even though Neymar could force a move away from his current employer, unless and until PSG open the door for his exit, not a lot can be done since he still has three years left on his contract.
