According to Trabzon based regional newspaper Gunebakis, Trabzonspor want to partner Alexander Sörloth with Oumar Niasse next season.
The newspaper claims the operation to sign the Everton forward has already begun and the Turkish club want to complete the transfer this time, having failed to sign him last summer.
It seems very likely the Senegalese striker will leave Everton when his current deal at Goodison Park expires at the end of the season, and a return to Turkey could be on the agenda. Niasse previously played in the Super Lig before his move to Russia.
Gunebakis also report Trabzonspor are looking to activate Alexander Sörloth’s €6m redemption clause in the summer after impressing since his loan move from Crystal Palace. It’s then hoped they can bring in Niasse as they look to bolster their attacking options.
The 29 year old, who’s had loan spells at Hull City and Cardiff City during his time on Merseyside, has only featured in three league games for Everton this season.
