Haberturk claim Besiktas have made a two year loan offer to sign Sunderland forward Wahbi Khazri.
The 27 year old will be looking to leave Sunderland following their relegation to League One.
Earlier this month we covered reports from Turkey that Besiktas are showing an interest in Khazri after it was claimed the Turkish club’s president Fikret Orman held talks with Sunderland over signing the player.
Besiktas journalist Kartal Yigit says the Turkish club are looking to sign the Tunisian international this summer and are looking to tempt Sunderland with an offer.
However, given Khazri has two years left on his current contract, it’s unlikely that Sunderland will accept this offer.
Khazri is set to feature in the World Cup and Sunderland will be hoping a good campaign will strengthen their hand in any talks which occur this summer.
The attacker spent the last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Rennes where he made 24 appearances, scoring 9 goals.
