Following his rather unfortunate experience with Sevilla and the failed medical which perhaps never was, Jordan Amavi has been waiting for developments.
Steve Bruce certainly wouldn’t mind the fullback staying around for the coming season, and has made that clear, but Amavi would surely like a bigger platform if possible.
Several French clubs have been linked to Amavi, both before and after the Sevilla circus, and it seems Ligue 1 could be his destination.
RMC’s Mohamed Bouhafsi reports on Friday evening that Marseille have now come into the picture strongly. Marsielle are on the up and RMC’s top man say Aston Villa can expected an offer for Amavi ‘in the coming hours’.
Info @RMCsport : L’#OM va transmettre dans les prochaines heures une offre à Aston Villa de prêt avec OA avoisinant 7M€ pour Jordan #Amavi !

That offer is going to be close to €7m, which sounds low for Amavi. Sevilla have only served to hit the player’s value, and it’s now up to Aston Villa whether to snub Marseille or move on.
Perhaps a sale with a good sell-on percentage could be a good idea.
