Serie A giants Juventus are interested in signing of Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, according to reports from the Italian media.
Website Calcio Mercato reports that the club’s new manager Massimiliano Allegri has asked for a centre-forward for the next season, and after listing many options, the Old Lady included the ‘most complicated’ of them, which is the Englishman.
They say Juventus made more than one approach for Harry Kane. Even though it’s known the striker wants to leave Tottenham, Spurs’ asking price continues to be an issue, as Daniel Levy demands €150m for the move.
Levy is seen as a particular issue, with the report stating: ‘The obstacle is always him’
The report claims that Kane’s current salary, which is €12m per season, wouldn’t be a problem for Juventus.
It’s claimed that Kane would rather stay in England, where he’s wanted by Manchester City and Manchester United, but the Serie A could ‘still fascinate him’.
Calcio Mercato insists there’s nothing more than an approach for now, with Juventus perhaps preparing themselves for Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure this summer.
