Nottingham Forest defender Frederik Fisker has revealed he’s had trials with Premier League Champions Leicester City. The 19-year-old will be out of contract with Nottingham Forest in the summer, and needs to find a new club for next season.

In an interview with Viborg-Folkeblad, the Nottingham Forest youngster was asked about the two trials he had with Leicester City. Fisker said it was a dream he could train with such high profile players, and that he wants to play in the Premier League one day.

The former Viborg player thinks his trials with Leicester City have been a good experience as it’s allowed him to see how a Premier League side goes about their training.

“It has been a huge dream that has come true in that I’ve been allowed to train with such good players and big stars. My big dream is to play in the Premier League, so that I have been allowed to train with them and to see what they are doing has been beneficial to me,” said the young Dane.

Fisker will be allowed to leave Nottingham Forest at the end of the season after failing to make the grade during his three seasons with the club.

However, despite his trials with Leicester City, Viborg-Folkeblad have reported the Premier League side will not offer the defender a contract, but have informed him they will continue to monitor his progress.
