Despite claims from Italy that AC Milan have come to an agreement with Sead Kolasinac’s agent about a summer move, the German media are pretty much ignoring it. That’s probably because there were claims in Italy during January that Juventus had agreed a deal and it would be announced quickly.

Schalke are still in very real danger of losing the fullback, and this week’s edition of SportBild claims that Juventus, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have the player on their shopping lists. SportBild believe Kolasinac will earn more than €6m per season if he leaves Schalke, and be welcomed with a financial golden handshake.

Manchester City would appear to remain in a good position to get the player, thanks to Bild’s reports of Pep Guardiola meeting his agent. Those carried more credibility because the newspaper also reported the Ilkay Gundogan meetings, and that quickly transpired to be true.

Guardiola reportedly met Gordon Stipic on Tuesday March 21st and Bild explained Manchester City can offer everything Kolasinac wants, including reuniting with his good friend Leroy Sane.

Whilst Manchester City are well placed, they can’t become complacent. Kolasinac would be an excellent free signing for the other clubs mentioned and many more.

The 23 year old is most known as a left back but has played further forward for Schalke this year. The left footer can also play in central defence.
