Nottingham Forest have joined the race for Milan full-back Fodé Ballo-Touré, according to a couple of reports on Monday.

One of the stories comes from Italy, and talks about the player’s likely departure from the Rossoneri.

It’s said he wants to leave, and even though Galatasaray are struggling to get to a deal with the Serie A side, there’s now an English and a French club competing for the signing as well.

Calciomercato claims that Nottingham Forest, who’ve been ‘the protagonist of a deluxe market’, are a ‘welcome destination’ for the player, just like French side Nice.

It’s said that ‘new contacts’ from these two clubs are expected ‘in the coming hours’.

Milan are reportedly requesting between €5m and €6m to let Ballo-Touré go, and with Galatasaray only working on a loan with a right of redemption, the other clubs have bigger chances of landing him.

Another outlet reporting Nice’s and Nottingham Forest’s interest is Foot Mercato.

Regarding the Reds, it’s said the club have struggled to sign a ‘second’ left-back, following the arrival of Omar Richards, and now turned their attentions to the Milan player.

However, there are not many details on how the talks are going for now.
