Nottingham Forest and Brentford are among the clubs in the picture to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf in the winter market.
The Senegal international joined Slavia Prague from Norwegian side Tromsø at the start of this year and made 30 appearances so far, managing seven goals and three assists in the process.
His performances have caught the attention of clubs across Europe, including Nottingham Forest and Brentford, and they are ‘wishing to secure his services’.
That’s at least what Africa Foot are reporting, and they say the left-back could leave the Czech side in January.
As well as the Premier League duo, Villarreal are showing interest in the 19-year-old and are working to table an offer. The La Liga side have to be wary of Nuno Espírito Santo’s side and the Bees as these two clubs are their ‘serious competitors’.
El Hadji Malick Diouf’s contract lasts until 2028 and Transfermarkt currently values him at €7m.
Slavia Prague have no intention of letting him leave for this price and the report states they would only consider a sale for €15m. In other words, they need more than double his current valuation.
Despite providing ‘serious’ competition to Villarreal, Africa Foot make no mention if Nottingham Forest or Brentford have plans to make an offer for the youngster.
