Torino may still be focused on keeping Nikola Vlasic at the club, but until they make West Ham a reasonable offer, that deal won’t be possible.
The Serie A side had the player loaned by the Hammers last summer with a buying option. Now as they try to get a discount to make that permanent, they seem to be pushing it to hard.
Newspaper Corriere dello Sport today writes that Torino’s latest attempt was with €9m on the table, and that was turned down by West Ham, as the amount is ‘not enough’.
The story writes that at least €13m is requested by the Hammers to close that deal.
In his season-long loan at Torino, Vlasic had five goals and eight assists in 37 appearances, and that was enough to convince the club to invest on his permanent signing.
The player is valued by Transfermarkt at €17m, and West Ham don’t seem keen on making him a bargain for the Italian club.
In case he returns to the Hammers, then he has a contract with the Premier League side running until 2026.
