Carrying on the theme of the different claims in Italy over Joao Mario’s move proposed to West Ham United, it’s now been reported by SportItalia the Portugal international is close to accepting a move to the Premier League side.
The Inter Milan player has been linked with a move to the Hammers in recent days, with differing reports on developments surrounding his potential move to England.
TMW have reported via the Italian TV station, Mario is set to say yes to a move to West Ham. It’s been claimed West Ham are looking to loan the attacking midfielder, with a right of redemption of €40m.
Of course, that’s different from figures we covered earlier from Italy, but it’s that kind of rumour.
It’s been revealed the only aspect which needs agreeing on is the loan fee, with suggestions this could be in the region of €1m.
West Ham have been locked in talks with Inter Milan in recent days with regards to signing the Portugal international before next week’s deadline.
We covered reports yesterday from Italy that a breakthrough had been made during Monday’s discussions, and that Mario is likely to make a decision with regards to joining West Ham in the coming days.
