Tuesday’s edition of L’Equipe once again linked Tottenham with a move for Lucas Moura, and this time they brought Arsenal into it as well.

PSG need to raise €70m before June 30th so as not to fall foul of FFP again, and for that they need sales. Whilst money is expected from Valencia for Goncalo Guedes, that will still leave a big gap, and there seems to be hope one of the London clubs can fill it.

Arsenal, like their London rivals, are ‘on the lookout’ for Moura, keeping an eye on the situation, and it’s stated ‘the Gunners are able to put the necessary means to a dry transfer in the last few days of the transfer window’.

A dry transfer is a straight permanent one, and what PSG would most cherish, and maybe it’s through hope rather than expectation that Arsenal have been dragged in.

Nevertheless, L’Equipe certainly believe it’s possible.

So, if their plan comes to fruition that would see Arsenal sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan, likely Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (who the Gunners have just put a new offer in for), and Lucas Moura in one window.

That would be so un-Arsene.
