West Ham United could be Napoli attacking midfielder Adam Ounas’ next destination, if reports coming out of Italy are to be believed.
According to Calciomercato.it, the 23-year-old recently changed agents and is now represented by Moussa Sissoko, whose client list includes Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé.
It’s claimed the Algeria international’s new representative is ‘trying to take him to the Premier League’ and ‘in particular’ to West Ham on a permanent transfer for a fee between €15-18m.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side are looking to offload the AFCON winner this summer.
Napoli have also made it clear that they are only looking for a sale and not a dry loan deal or even a loan with an option to buy.
Although the outlet reports Ounas’ agent is working on helping his new client join the Hammers, it’s worth noting the report doesn’t mention whether or not David Moyes’ side are making a serious effort.
Ounas spent last season on loan at Nice, where he managed four goals and four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.
