Ever since Dennis Praet moved from Sampdoria to Leicester City in 2019, there’s been repeat claims about a return to Serie A.
Ahead of and during each following window, there’s been multiple claims relating to interest from various clubs in Italy. That’s been the case again this time around, and TMW report Torino are now lining up a move for the Leicester player.
It’s stated ‘negotiations are ready to start’, and it’s explained Torino will be looking to sign the Belgian on loan. Praet has a contract with the Foxes until June 2024, so a loan move is possible without too much worry about the player’s value dropping.
So far this season, the 27-year-old hasn’t got off the bench for Brendan Rodgers’ side, and during the last campaign he only managed 722 minutes of Premier League football.
Clearly not one of the main players for Leicester, the club could consider a loan exit, although they may push to get a purchase obligation for the next summer window.
