Earlier this evening we covered claims from Calciomercato.it about Moise Kean’s future at Everton.
As we pointed out, it felt very much like speculation dressed up as something more concrete.
It’s taken very little time for the idea to spread, and now Calciomercato.com have dived into the deep-end. They claim the player’s agent Mino Raiola is ‘unhappy with the situation’ his player finds himself in at Everton, and is ‘already considering possible alternatives’ for the January transfer window.
Not only that, it’s claimed there’s already been contact between the agent and AC Milan.
The Rossoneri were keen on the player last summer, losing out to Everton. Raiola has ‘returned to talk’ with Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban, who have official roles at Milan, about a potential transfer.
Interest from the Serie A club is described as ‘strong’ and it could lead to ‘a real negotiation’.
Everton, according to the claims, wouldn’t want to ‘deprive’ themselves of the player on a temporary basis. That could suggest a permanent transfer, although that’s not made clear.
Again, this all feels like the situation is getting ahead of itself. Raiola has good relations with Marcel Brands, and the Everton director of football doesn’t even get a mention in the story.
