The excitement from the Italian press over Emre Can’s move to Juventus continues to be huge. Even with no big updates, local papers keep writing long stories about the Liverpool player.

For example, only a discreet mention from the Turkish press was enough for Tuttosport to develop a big article, which actually has nothing to do with the original claims.

Despite starting the story saying the news from Istanbul is that Can has said yes to Juve, Tuttosport is far too afraid to confirm a deal now, especially considering the club’s failure to sign Axel Witsel a couple of seasons ago.

There’s much confidence that Can will be signing a pre-contract with the Old Lady in the January window, but the newspaper makes sure to say that everything can change in case of a big offer from the competition.

This competition is named. Can would get an offer from China or Manchester City, since officials from the Premier League side have asked his agent about the situation not long ago.

City would definitely have the power to make the Liverpool midfielder a big offer, so only one email would be enough to end Juve’s plans for him.

But the chances of going somewhere else is just ‘minimum risk’. There’s big belief that Can is finally joining the Old Lady, and they are just being cautious before celebrating it.
