We’re not quite sure what it’s got to do with them, but Mundo Deportivo, a Catalan newspaper, report on Sunday that Emre Can is playing his ‘last matches’ for Liverpool, having decided to leave the club.
Perhaps so used to stirring over Liverpool transfers they’ve expanded beyond Coutinho, Mundo Deportivo state Can simply can’t turn down the offer from Juventus, which is said to be greater than he could get if he stays where he is.
It’s not explained whether the German international would leave Liverpool in January or when his contract expires in June, a decision which will totally be down to Jurgen Klopp and those in charge at Anfield.
Even the Turin press haven’t been as optimistic as this claim from Mundo Deportivo.
It’s no secret the Liverpool midfielder is a target for Juve, but the Turin press don’t present it as a nailed on transfer, just something the Italian champions are working towards.
The Catalan press don’t really have any Coutinho updates for their Sunday editions, so Can may have been dragged in to fill the Liverpool transfer quota.
