According to claim in the French press, Fulham could make a last ditch attempt to sign St Etienne midfielder Ole Selnaes, with the player ‘coveted’ by the Cottagers.
The Premier League newcomers have been busy in this transfer window as they look to consolidate their place in the English top flight.
L’Equipe today report Fulham are targeting the Norway international with just three days left of the transfer window, but his club aren’t keen to sell.
However, it’s claimed if a ‘crazy offer’ is tabled by Fulham, then St Etienne may consider selling the 24 year old.
It’s reported the London club could now come in with an offer in the coming days as they look to add to their squad before the window closes on Thursday.
The defensive midfielder has been with the Ligue 1 side sine 2016 and has played over fifty league games since joining from Rosenborg.
Selnaes is contracted to the French club until June 2020, and subsequently they aren’t under pressure to sell him this summer.
