Galatasaray recently celebrated the 17th anniversary of their UEFA Cup win over Arsenal and the club’s board organised a reunion among the players involved. Tomas Ujfalusi played in the Turkish side’s triumph and he’s made some revelations about the future of Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.

Goalbien report Ujfalusi is the middleman who arranged the meeting between Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun and Bony’s manager Dalibor Lacina. They report Ujfalusi is said to be good friends with members of the Galatasaray board, and he’s stated the Manchester City player wants a move to the Turkish giants.

“I have good news for you. Bony doesn’t want to move to China. He’s eager to play for Galatasaray. With the hard word, you can convince Manchester City. Signing him will be a massive boost for us.”

Bony clearly has no future at the Etihad under Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, and it would be no surprise if Galatasaray interest is welcome. The player was loaned out to Stoke City this season, but hasn’t had the campaign he would have hoped for.
