It seems Manchester United’s poor season is being watched by Fiorentina very closely.

The Florence media is always keeping an eye on how Sofyan Amrabat, who’s loaned by La Viola, has been doing for Erik ten Hag’s side.

The midfielder stayed on the bench during Manchester United’s loss to West Ham United on Saturday, and that’s a reason for Viola News to share some thoughts about his spell.

It’s pointed out that Amrabat’s time at Old Trafford is ‘anything but happy’ at this moment, and that should have a big impact on his future.

It’s said that with his time on the bench, added to mistakes he’s made, should take his future ‘far from Manchester’, as the Red Devils should be ‘increasingly doubtful’ about triggering the €20m buying clause over him.

This is not the first time the Italian media talks about this possibility. Just last week, they had been saying Fiorentina may have to find other buyers for Amrabat already in January, as his poor season with Manchester United shouldn’t convince the English club to invest on his signing.
