Having arrived at Old Trafford in January after Manchester United agreed a deal with Atalanta last summer, Amad Diallo made eight appearances in all competitions in the second half of last season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now stated the 19-year-old could go out on loan before the window closes, if the right opportunity turns up for him.

Reports from the British press have stated a handful of English clubs are interested in the winger.

On August 20th, Tutto Atalanta explained the Serie A side’s manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, has ‘requested the return of Amad Diallo on loan’.

Another report from the same website claims Gasperini is ‘considering whether to borrow’ the Ivory Coast international late in the window.

It’s claimed Diallo can be a ‘last-minute concrete track’ for Atalanta, while Jeremie Boga ‘remains their dream’.

There’s a possibility for the Italian club to part ways with one of Josip Iličić or Aleksei Miranchuk in the last days of the window. If that happens, then the Manchester United player will be considered as an option, behind Boga.

Tutto Atalanta make it clear any potential deal to take Diallo to Atalanta on loan will be a ‘last-minute operation’.
