As Manchester United continue with their vast scouting job in Portugal, scouts from the Red Devils had another mission on Monday evening.
As reported by newspaper A Bola, the Premier League giants now sent officials for the league clash between Porto and Santa Clara.
The outlet doesn’t say who Manchester United were watching, although recent stories from the Portuguese media claimed the Old Trafford side have taken an interest in the Dragons’ midfielder Otávio.
Despite not being the best performer at the home side, the 27-year-old still had a positive display, getting praises from the local media, and may have drawn good reports from the spies.
Now in case Manchester United were open to seeing other players, then they will have been impressed with new talents.
One of them was Fábio Vieira, who scored a brace and was undoubtedly the man of the match.
He also had big help from midfielder Vitinha and winger Pepê, who created several chances during the 90 minutes.
The Red Devils weren’t the only club to have sent scouts to this match, as the likes of Valencia, Rennes, Sevilla, Monza, Leicester City, Strasbourg, AEK and Granada had their representatives at the Estádio do Dragão as well.
