We’re not going to go around and claim we know all that much about Lucien Agoume, because we don’t.
What we can tell you, however, is that Manchester United, Barcelona and Inter are apparently all interested in the 16-year-old.
According to Nicolò Schira, a journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils are one of a number of clubs after the young midfielder, currently plying his trade with FC Sochaux’s U19s in France.
As tends to be the norm to make things a little bit more exciting, the Italian journalist describes the France U16 international as the ‘new Pogba’, whatever that means.
The slant is obviously from Italy, therefore it’s Inter ‘challenging’ Manchester United and Barcelona for Agoume’s services, but that’s as far as this has gone for now.
This isn’t the first time the Serie A side have been linked with Agoume, as TuttoMercatoWeb appear to be the ones who got that particular ball rolling.
It is, however, the first we’ve seen of Manchester United being mentioned, and whether that’s just been thrown in there to make things more exciting remains to be seen.
We’ll be keeping an eye out.
