Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez is one of the hottest properties in Europe and the forward is attracting interest from across the continent.

According to FcInterNews, Manchester United are one of the clubs who are ‘at the window’ for the Argentina international, who has a €111m release clause valid between July 1st and 15th.

Manchester United and the Nerazzurri share good relations after the English club allowed Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sánchez (on loan) and Ashley Young to move to the San Siro in the last two windows.

It’s claimed there is ‘strong pressure’ from the Red Devils, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are ‘pushing the accelerator’ for Martínez.

However, the 22-year-old is unlikely to join the Premier League side because the United option ‘does not appeal’ to him, due to lack of Champions League football.

Based on United’s current performances, there’s no security that they would feature regularly in Europe’s elite club competition.

With Martínez not wanting to join the Old Trafford club, Solskjaer and United will have to look elsewhere to strengthen their attack next season.
