Following the recent links between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, the French media brings more updates on this pursuit.

This time it’s Foot Mercato who writes about the chase, explaining why the Red Devils have the ‘advantage’ to sign the 31-year-old.

Neymar’s departure from PSG this summer is pretty much a reality, with the situation getting worse with him being absent in the last match of the season.

Foot Mercato now points out that despite previous attention from Chelsea and Newcastle United, Manchester United ended up being interested, which has already been reported, and approached the player’s entourage.

This possibility is set to become stronger in case the Red Devils are taken over by the Qatari, since the Brazilian has ‘partnerships and contracts’ with them.

With QSI also working to take over Neymar’s former club Santos with the help of his father, that only shows how strong their current bond is.

Manchester United are therefore said to be have an advantage even after Saudi clubs, who recently made him a huge €400m offer, and the forward’s priority is to stay in Europe, meaning money won’t take him somewhere else, for now.
