Turin newspaper Tuttosport are now treating Anthony Martial and Matteo Darmian as a pair.
With Juventus looking for ‘discontented’ footballers because they’re generally easier to sign, the two Manchester United players are described as such and are both on the club’s agenda.
Saying ‘Manchester goodbye’, Tuttosport carry on their claims from the weekend.
It had been established that Martial’s entourage are working on a way out of Old Trafford, with the Frenchman unhappy with his lack of prominence under Jose Mourinho, and Darmian was said to have given his ‘yes’ to a move and is ‘very close’ to Juventus.
On Monday, it’s stated Martial’s situation at Manchester United is ‘increasingly cloudy’ and for Darmian an exit is wanted ‘as soon as possible’.
Juventus would happily provide a home for both, but whilst they’ve got a very good chance of signing Darmian, with that looking like a transfer which could soon happen, Martial is going to be much more difficult.
Catalan newspaper Sport: Liverpool have initiated contact to sign Barca’s Jasper Cillessen, propose ‘project’ to him.
