Impressing hugely on his loan at FC Twente this season, Manchester City’s Enes Ünal is attracting a lot of attention from clubs around Europe for the 2017/18 campaign.

Lazio in Italy have been following his progress over the past two years, for example, while reports from Germany suggest a loan to the Bundesliga next year is the most likely option for the 20-year-old.

However, were a team to want to sign him permanently, Mercato365 in France understand that Manchester City have set a price to start negotiations at.

According to the French website, if someone like Lazio wanted to buy Ünal, the Premier League club would want a minimum of €10m for his services.

Having paid just £2.5m for him in the first place from Bursaspor two years ago, this would represent a nice little profit for Manchester City, yet we find it hard to believe they would be interested in letting him go.

Scoring 19 goals in 33 appearances for FC Twente this season, as well as providing four assists, the Citizens are aware of his huge talent, and could wait a bit longer before cashing in on him.

After all, with Sergio Agüero and Gabriel Jesus already ahead of him in the pecking order, a spot in the first-team isn’t likely to open anytime soon, a reason why his Manchester City teammate Kelechi Iheanacho is also expected to play somewhere else next year.

With two years left on his contract at the Etihad, City still have time to decide what they want to do with the five-time Turkey international.

No rush.
