The agent of Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure expects the player’s future to be sorted out next month. The Manchester City star is out of contract with the Premier League side at the end of the season.
Speaking to TMW, Dimitri Seluk was asked if Toure would be extending his contract with Manchester City beyond his current deal. Seluk confirmed as yet they haven’t heard anything from Manchester City’s directors, but he’s hoping within the next 30 to 45 days they will know more about his client’s future at the club.
“Not yet. I believe that within 30-45 days there will be some news and we’ll understand more about his future,” said Toure’s agent.
Toure started the season out of Pep Guardiola’s plans after his agent questioned the Manchester City manager. The Ivorian apologised over comments made by Seluk, and has forced himself back into Guardiola’s plans.
However, it’s not known if Manchester City will offer the player a new contract in the summer with the possibility of new signings coming in during the next window.
