Juventus’ chase for Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus is becoming a serious topic in the Italian press, now reaching a stage where they have several stories about it a week.
Tuttosport brings an article today saying the striker has been moving up in Fabio Paratici’s wish-list, becoming one of their priorities for the summer window.
The big reason the Old Lady now target Jesus is the hope that Manchester City’s ban from European competition could lead some players to leave the club soon.
It’s said the Brazilian wouldn’t like to give up on playing international competitions, especially with the contract bonuses which are tied to it. The fact that he’s been on the bench a lot also favours the Italian side.
Gabriel Jesus wouldn’t be a cheap player, as Tuttosport claims he’d cost around €70m.
And Juventus are said to be waiting, to see the situation at Manchester City before taking any final decisions on an attempt to get him.
