Portuguese newspaper A Bola had something of a flashback on Friday.

First, they reported Manchester United had accepted to pay €45m for Victor Lindelof, something they’d already claimed in January.

Then they mad claims saying it will be hard for Manchester City to sign Ederson due to the high amount Benfica are demanding for him.

CapturarAs the Eagles only own 50% of the player’s economical rights, they would push for a higher fee.

Ederson has a €60m release clause, so it means Benfica will want the most of it. For the Portuguese side to get €30m, Manchester City would have to pay for the maximum price.

We’ve covered this repeatedly on Sport Witness, but it seems it’s something which has just occurred to A Bola.

The only recent thing mentioned by A Bola is that Claudio Bravo got injured in the Manchester derby, which they present as yet another reason for Manchester City to want Ederson.
