Manchester City are taking Angeliño back from PSV, report La Voz de Galicia on Monday morning.
The 22 year old signed a five year contract with the Dutch club in June 2018, and has impressed during his time in the Netherlands.
When letting him go, Manchester City made sure they’d have some say over his future and inserted a buy-back clause in the deal. La Voz report, as a matter of fact, that this is set to be used.
The Premier League champions have already informed PSV of their intention, and will pay twice as much as what they sold the player for, although now he has more experience and has displayed his potential further.
It’s claimed Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Barcelona, Arsenal and PSG have all been keen on signing the player. The French club are even said to have made a €25m offer.
Whether Manchester City are taking Angeliño back to keep or to make some profit isn’t clear.
The fullback is from Galicia, hence the news appearing there.
