According to reports in the Turkish media, Galatasaray manager Faith Terim could sell Badou Ndiaye if the right offer comes in.
The central midfielder has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in the past week, after claims the Premier League side have put in a bid for the player.
Milliyet have reported on Ndiaye’s situation at Galatasaray, with suggestions Terim hasn’t been happy with the midfielder’s performances this season.
The Senegal international joined the Turkish side in the last window, but the player has failed to impress going forward since his arrival.
Last week we covered reports from Turkey that Newcastle United had tabled a bid in the region of €18m to sign Ndiaye in this transfer window. Terim has been informed of Newcastle United’s proposal, and it’s expected a decision will be made soon whether to accept.
Ndiaye joined Galatasaray for just €7.5m last summer, and they subsequently stand to make a big profit if they accept Newcastle United’s offer.
Newcastle fans doubt such a high offer could have gone in from their club, so perhaps it’s a loan with a view to paying that… or maybe someone is on the way out.
