Earlier today, we carried a report from De Telegraaf, who stated that Aston Villa’s Anwar El Ghazi reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven for a three-year contract late on Monday.
It was also explained the winger has already passed his medical examinations with the Eredivisie side.
The deal to take the Aston Villa player to the Dutch club is still not been made official yet, but it seems to be on the right track. This has been confirmed by PSV manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.
PSV take on FC Volendam in the league on Wednesday and during the pre-match press conference, the former Manchester United star was directly asked about El Ghazi’s arrival.
Responding to that, as quoted by journalist Rik Elfrink, he said: “It looks very good. He’s not here yet, but it looks good.”

Noni Madueke’s injury setback towards the end of July has seen PSV move for El Ghazi. The Dutch club’s coach believes the addition of Steve Gerrard’s man to his squad can give him more options up front.
“El Ghazi can play in three positions at the front. That is a big advantage,” Van Nistelrooy added.
