According to a claim in the Turkish media, Stoke City have made another attempt to sign Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye.
The 27 year old has been linked with the Premier League club in recent weeks, after reports of earlier bids.
Futbol Arena have reported on the latest developments with regards to Ndiaye’s future with Galatasaray, and it’s been reported Stoke City have tabled an offer of €16m for the Senegal international.
This is the figure which Stoke City reportedly offered earlier in the window, although there have been conflicting reports in recent days saying the bid was €9m.
However, despite Stoke City coming in with a significant offer it looks like Ndiaye will be remaining with Galatasaray, even thought the Turkish side’s board are tempted to accept.
It’s claimed Galatasaray manager Faith Terim, a big figure in Turkish football, will have the final say over the sale of the player, and it seems he won’t give his approval because he sees Ndiaye as a key player in his team.
