According to a claim in the Turkish media, Manchester United have tabled an offer for Fenerbahce forward Vedat Muriqi.
The Kosovo international has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months following reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.
Fotospor have today reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Muriqi and they say Manchester United have made an attempt to sign the centre forward.
With the Premier League side missing Marcus Rashford for the foreseeable future there’s been claims Ole Gunnar Solskjær is in the market for a forward before next week’s transfer deadline.
It’s claimed the player is excited by the proposal from the English club after being informed by his agent, but it’s unlikely Fenerbahce will sell him just days before the window closes.
Fener are still in the mix for the league title and will only look to sell Muriqi in the summer window.
The attacker is contracted to the Yellow Canaries until June 2023.
