Donny van de Beek was one of the new players who arrived at Manchester United before the start of this season and he’s been slowly settling into life at Old Trafford.

The midfielder is still waiting for his first Premier League start and his decision to join the Red Devils has been questioned by some.

According to Calciomercato.it, Inter Milan carried out polls for the 23-year-old months before he agreed to join the English club.

Antonio Conte snubbed, if not completely rejected, the former Ajax star, and United took  him after the Nerazzurri ‘ditched’ the idea of signing the Dutchman.

Van de Beek’s difficulties to have more minutes under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now seen him being linked to Juventus. It’s claimed the Old Lady could make an attempt for the Netherlands international next summer.

Juve chief Fabio Paratici has known the player for some time, and therefore, an attempt using the formula of loan with ‘right of redemption’ for around €35m is ‘possible’, considering the excellent relationship between the two clubs.

A move to Turin would see Van de Beek reunite with Matthijs de Ligt and also find Andrea Pirlo, who would probably ‘value and appreciate’ the United player more than Solskjaer, according to the claims.

This all feels like speculation based on criticism regarding his relative lack of minutes, however, after his midweek CL performance that may be a situation which changes soon.
