According to Turkish website Asist Analiz, Manchester United are set to make a ‘giant offer’ for Trabzonspor midfielder Yusuf Yazici.

It’s reported the Premier League club are set to offer €27m plus €4m in add-ons for Trabzonspor’s 22-year old captain, who could leave the Super Lig club this summer.

The Turkish international has been linked with Lille and AS Monaco in recent weeks but Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu confirmed the offers they’ve received aren’t good enough.

Both Manchester United’s interest and the reported transfer fee are huge claims, and the player is expected to leave the Turkish club this summer in order to make the next step in his career.

The English club could be in the market for a midfielder this summer with Paul Pogba looking to leave. They’ve also been linked with Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić and Southampton’s Mario Lemina in the past week, who seem likelier targets.

Yazici is primarily an attacking midfielder but the youngster played a lot of games as a central midfielder last season.

His contract with Trabzonspor will expire at the end of June 2022.
