Bought from RSC Charleroi in the summer, Victor Osimhen has had an immediate impact at Lille since his arrival.

Scoring 18 goals in 38 games, the striker has displayed a mix of strength, pace and an eye for goal that has caught the eye of many clubs around Europe, including that of Manchester United.

That’s what Le10 Sport reported over the weekend, claiming that according to their exclusive information, the young Nigeria international has become one of the ‘priorities’ at Old Trafford for the upcoming transfer window.

The club feel he has ‘all the qualities’ to impose himself in the Premier League, and are ‘very hot’ at the idea of landing the 21-year-old.

The French website continue by stating ‘things could move quickly’ from Manchester United’s end in their bid to signing Osimhen, but face some competition, as Real Madrid are also lurking.

Having sold Nicolas Pépé to Arsenal last summer, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Lille let another one of their stars go if the right amount came in, and if a club, like the Red Devils, were to place a similar fee to what the Gunners paid for the Ivory Coast international (around €80m) to get Osimhen, they could hardly say no.
