Portuguese side Sporting are looking to bring some players back to the club, according to the local media today.

Newspaper O Jogo lists several footballers who returned or may return to Lisbon in the future, and it turns out that two of them belong to Leicester City.

The first one is Adrien Silva, who left the Lions to join the Foxes on a €25m deal in 2017, and is currently having a loan spell at Monaco.

It’s claimed that with his contract expiring in 2021, Leicester City could make his departure easier, since they wouln’t run the risk of losing him for free.

Although Adrien Silva had problems in his exit from Sporting, it’s claimed his anger goes towards former president Bruno de Carvalho, and not the club. That’s why he’s seen as a possible signing.

The other player is Islam Slimani, but his situation makes things a little bit harder for Sporting.

That’s because his loan to Monaco includes a buying option for the French side. And given his nine goals in 19 appearances, Ligue 1 club would be keen on triggering the clause.
