Fanatik report Trabzonspor striker Alexander Sorloth has an important decision to make ahead of the summer transfer window with a host of European clubs said to be interested in his services, including Manchester United.
The Norwegian striker has scored 25 goals in all competitions for the Trabzon side this season, since his loan move from Crystal Palace last summer.
It’s claimed Manchester United are following the situation of the player and the club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make a move for his compatriot at the end of the season.
Along with United, it’s reported that Milan, Napoli and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the 24 year old but Trabzonspor’s board are relaxed about the situation despite the interest.
The Turkish club have the option to make his stay permanent for €6m, and they are ready to use it at the end of the season.
However, Sorloth remains focused on finishing the season and winning the league title with Trabzonspor, so the Norway international will decide on his future later this year.
Manchester United interest seems a stretch given the forward flopped at Crystal Palace, as does that from other big clubs, and it’s perhaps fair to say that if both Sorloth and Solskjaer weren’t Norwegian, then this link simply wouldn’t be made.
