Italy could be the escape for those sidelined at Manchester United. Besides the links between Matteo Darmian and Inter Milan, it’s now the story that speculates Memphis Depay arriving at Juventus that is gaining pace.
The newspaper describes Depay as “one of the most promising talents in the international scenario” as the 22-year-old would be a perfect fit for the club’s 4-3-3 system.
Juventus would have the benefit that even after coming from a big club, Depay would still be able to play in the Champions League having not participated in it for Manchester United.
Tuttosport can’t say how much Juve would pay for the player, or if they’d try a permanent or a loan deal.
Depay has seven appearances for Manchester United this season, with no goals or assists. But after only 126 minutes played, you wouldn’t expect it to be much different.
