Since 2013, the press in England and/or Spain have talked about Manchester United’s interest in signing Gareth Bale, but he continued to stay at Real Madrid.

Two days ago, Marca reported that Real Madrid are willing to give the Red Devils an option to sign the forward on a loan deal with purchase option.

It looks like the Spanish press are at it again and this time they want to push the former Tottenham Hotspur star away from the La Liga giants.

Wednesday’s edition of AS takes a look at the situation and claims the Wales international is ‘already a problem’ for Los Blancos because there are no clubs interested in him.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are aware of the players they need to bring in the summer to achieve those targets, they will have to offload a few players and Bale is included in the list.

The 29-year-old, for his part, is not willing to leave the 13-time European champions, even though the attacker has seen his playing time limited in recent times.

Real Madrid believe they can offload the player, but the problem is Bale has no suitors and so far no interested clubs have contacted his employer to ask about the player, who is valued at €130m.

Once again, AS is pushing the Welshman towards Old Trafford as they claim the Premier League outfit are the club ‘expected with more hope’ to come forward to make an approach for Bale in the summer.

AS also have a solution as they believe Bale can be included as a part of the deal that will see Real Madrid bring Paul Pogba from United.

Should that not work, Real will try that approach with Tottenham as they look to sign Christian Eriksen.

Bale will turn 30 in July and with his high wages, not many clubs will be interested to sign him in the summer. If Real Madrid are willing to send him out on loan and pay part of his wages, United or Tottenham could consider to sign him on a temporary deal.
