On Sunday evening, Sport Witness covered claims from Paris United, a prominent PSG source this summer, that Serge Aurier has agreed personal terms to join Manchester United.
Aurier is looking for a way out of PSG, with Dani Alves very much being the club’s new first choice right back. Despite many links, mainly with Premier League clubs, nothing seems to have happened yet, but Paris United have added to their claims on Tuesday.
It’s stated that Aurier has agreed a five year deal to join Manchester United, and the fullback’s salary is put at €4.5-5m per year.
The dripping of information seems purposeful and to add drama, and therefore attention.

A lot of Aurier claims this summer have felt forced, and Manchester United have been part of that on more than one occasion.
It started way back in April, when an Ivory Coast source claimed Aurier had reached a personal agreement with Manchester United, and this picked up by French newspaper L’Equipe.
There’s been further insinuations since, and not just related to Manchester United. Aurier is very much available and it would be no surprise if he’s been offered to the Premier League club several times this summer.
Work permit and criminal case pending (the defender wasn’t allowed in the UK in November to face Arsenal), if Manchester United want Aurier, they can almost certainly have him, but that’s probably been the case for quite some time.
