Calcio Mercato has an article today saying both Juventus and João Cancelo are disappointed with the season the right-back has had with the Old Lady.
Now since the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United are both being linked to him, the Serie A side must take a decision about his future, and have already sent some instructions to agent Jorge Mendes.
According to Calcio Mercato, Juve told Mendes that Cancelo is not for sale, and will only leave the club for very important figures, which would be of at least €65m for the player who cost them €40m in the last summer.
It’s claimed that the Old Lady will not make any discounts for Manchester City and Manchester United, and would only sell Cancelo in case he asks them for an exit.
Juve would actually be waiting for a decision from manager Massimiliano Allegri to know if the boss counts on Cancelo for the next season or not. When his final word comes, then things may change a little bit.
But for now, the ‘disappointing’ player is still considered to be not for sale… unless the figures go very high.
