Diego Rosa’s move from Manchester City to Vizela is today highlighted by Portuguese newspapers.

O Jogo is one of those talking about the move, claiming the player is signing for his new club ‘in the next few hours’.

It’s said Rosa is arriving on a one-year loan deal, with no details regarding a potential buying option for the Liga Bwin side.

As newspaper Record also talks about the move, they claim the transfer is imminent. It’s said the agreement between Manchester City and Vizela is ‘practically closed’ and could be official ‘in the next few hours’.

Once again, there are no details about the chances of a permanent move, with confirmation on any future clause likely to become clearer soon.

Diego Rosa was signed by the City Group in February 2021 in a €6m deal from Grêmio.

Even though he was officially bought by Manchester City, he was immediately sent to Belgian side Lommel, where he stayed until this summer. Now it’s time to look for more minutes in the Portuguese first division, and probably dream of the chance of impressing Pep Guardiola and his staff.
