It’s been a crazy day for Arsenal, Liverpool and Monaco, with Thomas Lemar in the middle of it.

After claims from England that the Gunners had offered €100m for the French forward, which was apparently accepted before Wenger decided to pull out because of a lack of time to get a deal done, SFR Sport in France reveal Liverpool’s latest bid.

Following a first bid of €72m + €8m (turned down), and then another of €50m + €30m + Origi on loan for a year (also turned down), it seems the Reds then offered €75m (bonuses included).

However, that hasn’t been accepted, and the latest to come out of the Monaco camp is that everyone is leaning towards the 21-year-old staying in the south of France rather than moving to Liverpool.

Thomas Lemar has since been announced in the starting lineup of Didier Deschamps’ France team to play against the Netherlands.

Last season, the former Caen starlet made 55 appearances in all competitions for Monaco, scoring 14 goals and picking 17 assists.

This one may be over for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
