According to a claim in the Turkish media Besiktas are continuing to track Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge and that they can get a deal done for €8m.

The England international has been linked with the Turkish side in recent weeks, and contact had been initiated over a move.

Ajansspor have reported on the latest developments with the future of Sturridge at Liverpool, with claims the Premier League side will listen to offers in the region of €8m.

The forward doesn’t seem to be in the plans of Jurgen Klopp and he may need to move on in this transfer window.

It’s suggested Sturridge would prefer to stay in England following his loan spell with West Bromwich Albion last season, but due to the lack of interest Besiktas believe they have a chance of signing him.

The Besiktas fans have already started a ‘Come to Besiktas’ campaign to convince the Liverpool player to move to Istanbul, as they have in the past with Alvaro Negredo and Pepe.

It’s now expected Sturridge will make a decision on his future in the coming weeks.
