While it has been revealed that Liverpool will not be pursuing Jude Bellingham this summer, there could still be a big name arriving at Anfield.
That’s if Fichajes are to be believed, with it claimed that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the Reds’ ‘secret obsession’ ahead of the summer transfer window.
Liverpool are very familiar with the player, who was one of the main reasons behind their big defeat to Napoli earlier on in the summer, and he’s left them impressed.
They claim the interest from Anfield is such that they would be ‘willing to put on the table a financial offer powerful enough to make him one of the great stars next season’.
Where it gets a bit unbelievable, if you ask us, is when the fee is mentioned considering the €100m+ needed for Bellingham were too much, as it’s stated Liverpool would be ‘willing to satisfy the wishes’ of Napoli and put ‘€130m on the table’.
We can’t quite see that happening, especially if Liverpool fail to qualify for the Champions League, meaning we’d take all this with a pinch of salt for the time being.
