Regardless of the veracity of the claims, The Sun saying Arsene Wenger is considering signing Christian Pulisic was always going to be picked up by German newspaper Bild. The idea is that Wenger would be interested in Pulisic and Marco Reus, worried that Arsenal could be set to lose Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Bild love Pulisic rumours and the Borussia Dortmund player is most regularly linked to Liverpool. The Jurgen Klopp factor plays a part and covering the English claims, Bild have reiterated that Liverpool would be prepared to pay €30m to sign the player in January.

However, Dortmund have no intention to sell, to Liverpool, Arsenal, or anyone else. Bild say Wenger has an ‘extremely difficult mission’ if he wishes to sign the 18 year old midfielder.

Earlier this month SportBild reported on Liverpool interest in Pulisic and said the club’s owners FSG would be keen to sign the US player for Klopp.

Whilst Dortmund don’t want to sell, and it’s claimed Klopp has an agreement not to sign BVB players, it was stated that if Pulisic is to leave then the German club would rather it was to Liverpool.

That could make things doubly difficult for Wenger and Arsenal, if the claims hold any truth.
