Fotospor claim Besiktas loanee goalkeeper Loris Karius has held talks with Sergen Yalcin about his future with the Super Lig club.

Yalcin has previously stated Karius won’t be staying beyond this season as he said signing him on a permanent deal is almost impossible given the Turkish club’s finances.

However, according to Fotospor Karius has told Yalcin he could terminate his contract with Liverpool in order to return to Besiktas next season.

Yalcin spoke with Karius and told the 26 year old he is currently the best goalkeeper in his squad and will continue to be picked until the end of the campaign. The Liverpool owned player’s future will probably a big talking point in the summer as it seems he won’t be staying at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp seems content with his goalkeeping options, so it’s likely the former Mainz player will need to find a new club this summer if he doesn’t remain with the Istanbul club.

His contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of June 2021, and it’s not mentioned what the Premier League club think about a potential termination.
